Tackle what's hard.
Tackling what's hard is a work in progress for the UK legal industry. Here's how we're going to make it happen.
How it works
Crowd-source the answers. Give leaders something to draw on.
The hardest problems in the profession rarely have a single owner. So we're solving them together.
Crowd-source the thorny topics
We bring the profession together to work through the issues most firms find hardest, openly and honestly, drawing on the people who've actually wrestled with them — subject to the usual regulatory and legal constraints, of course.
Build a resource leaders can draw on
Those contributions become practical, working documents that any leader in law can pick up and use, rather than theory that never reaches the corridor.
A group of Managing Partners to approach
And for those who want to go further, we're convening a group of Managing Partners who can be approached for help, peer to peer.
Private input, credited leadership
No one's contribution is public.
You can be candid. Individual contributions stay private and are never attributed to a named person, so people can speak freely about what's really going on and what actually worked.
The finished documents will credit the leaders who helped create them, so people can see what great law firm leadership looks like — but no individual comment is ever tied to a name.
The kind of topics we'll tackle
The thorniest questions in the sector.
The agenda will be shaped by the profession. To give a flavour, it's likely to include:
Illustrative themes. The real list will be set by the people taking part.
Want to help shape it?
This is just getting started, and it gets better the more leaders take part. If you'd like to contribute, or put your firm forward, we'd love to hear from you.
